The Chernivtsi station is located in the Chernivtsi region and is one of the most famous and busiest railway stations in Ukraine. Trains from various regions of the country stop here, particularly from Lviv, Kyiv, Odesa, and other major cities. At the Chernivtsi station, passengers can also transfer to buses and marshrutkas, which provide transportation to the city center. The first train departed from Chernivtsi station on November 15, 1875. The Chernivtsi train station is noted for its architectural beauty and developed infrastructure.
The Halych station is located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region on the railway line Uzhhorod – Ternopil. It was built in 1873 and opened for passenger traffic on November 25 of the same year. The first train that departed from Halych station was also interesting in that it was serviced by a worker from the station, as the driver was preparing the train for departure. Halych station is an important railway hub through which trains travel to various corners of Ukraine and international destinations.
