Vorokhta — Halych

Vorokhta station is located in a picturesque corner of the Carpathians, making trips from this station a true pleasure thanks to the breathtaking views of the mountains and forests. The station was opened in 1894 and has become an important departure point for trains heading into the mountains. The first train from Vorokhta station departed on May 23, 1894. The first train that departed from Halych station was also interesting in that it was serviced by a worker from the station, as the driver was preparing the train for departure. Halych station is an important railway hub through which trains travel to various corners of Ukraine and international destinations.
