The Halych station is located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region on the railway line Uzhhorod – Ternopil. It was built in 1873 and opened for passenger traffic on November 25 of the same year. The first train that departed from Halych station was also interesting in that it was serviced by a worker from the station, as the driver was preparing the train for departure.
