Lviv station is located in the central part of the city of Lviv and was built in 1861. It is one of the largest railway stations in Ukraine and an important transportation hub. Today, the station features ticket offices for railway ticket sales, cafes, shops, and other services for passengers. The first train departed from Lviv station on April 15, 1861, marking an important date in the history of railway transport in Ukraine.
The Halych station is located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region on the railway line Uzhhorod – Ternopil. It was built in 1873 and opened for passenger traffic on November 25 of the same year. The first train that departed from Halych station was also interesting in that it was serviced by a worker from the station, as the driver was preparing the train for departure. Halych station is an important railway hub through which trains travel to various corners of Ukraine and international destinations.
