Hoholeve — Halych

Gogoлеve station is small but significant, as it serves several trains a day. The main days of activity fall on weekends. The station was first opened in 1960, making it a part of the local infrastructure for over 60 years. Below you will find useful tips for a comfortable journey:

• There is no buffet at the station, so it is best to bring your own food and drinks. We also recommend packing food in convenient containers for easier transportation.
• Look for local shops in the area to purchase food or water before departure. This will ensure you have everything you need during the trip.
• Parking is available nearby; it is advisable to arrive early to find a free spot. Be cautious, as there can be a significant influx of cars on weekends.

The sale of train tickets begins 45 days before the departure date. The earlier you decide to buy a train ticket, the more chances you have to choose the best seats in the cabin. As the departure date approaches, the number of available seats decreases, so don’t waste time and plan your trip in advance.

The Halych station is located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region on the railway line Uzhhorod – Ternopil. It was built in 1873 and opened for passenger traffic on November 25 of the same year. The first train that departed from Halych station was also interesting in that it was serviced by a worker from the station, as the driver was preparing the train for departure. Halych station is an important railway hub through which trains travel to various corners of Ukraine and international destinations.
